Woman Taken into Custody Following Alleged Medical Gas Sabotage at Multiple Metropolitan Hospitals
One woman is now in police custody following medical gas supplies reportedly tampered with at a pair of Sydney-area hospitals.

The Sutherland medical facility in the city's southern suburbs experienced disruption to medical gases on early Tuesday, requiring them to switch to portable oxygen and air as part of their contingency plans, according to medical authorities.
"This incident behind the disruption of gases appears to be deliberate sabotage," officials declared.
Officials stressed that "{To allegedly do this is beyond serious. It could have been disastrous consequences."
Police Investigation
NSW police said they received reports of "suspected intentional damage at multiple medical facilities in Caringbah." Sources indicate that the second location was a local private medical center.
Police alleged a female in her forties gained access of a medical facility on Kareena Road at around 12:20 AM on Tuesday and "severed utility lines, before activating fire hoses."
They further alleged that at about early morning, "the woman entered the grounds of a second medical facility on the same street ... and reportedly switched off the gas main."
She was arrested in the Miranda area at about 4 AM on Tuesday for breach of bail, according to police.
Hospital Response
Health officials confirmed that medical gas supplies were returned to operation by hospital teams and regional health authorities "in about two hours time."
"Let me reassure the public there was no impact to medical services and that the system has resumed normal operations according to standard procedures," officials stated.
Officials further noted that "Entry to utility systems in NSW public hospitals is restricted. An investigation will examine the incident to identify potential enhancements can be implemented."
Authorities disclosed that the suspect reportedly scaled a wall at Sutherland hospital and entered to a secured zone.
