The former president's Family Member Receives Expert Guidance from Tiger Woods Ahead of LPGA Debut
This young athlete has impressive social media following
Kai Trump will have numerous prominent supporters when she makes her LPGA debut this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to a former US president, was granted a special exemption to participate at the Annika competition in Florida.
The former president, an avid golfer, operates multiple golf courses and often competes against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we play competitive games," she mentioned.
Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, counseled her: "Just avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa essentially told me to play and relax," she explained.
"From my perspective, he's just an ordinary family member. He won't be there this weekend. He's occupied with world affairs, making him rather occupied."
While still amateur, the golfer has participated in just three tournaments in 2024 and has ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
Yet she can receive tips from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Vanessa.
"He stands as the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai expressed.
"Additionally, he's a more impressive individual. He told me to play, relax, adapting to the flow."
The golfer will compete against several most prominent players in professional golf at the Annika, such as world number two the champion, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
Officials stated that Kai's presence brings the sport to wider groups, especially among younger fans.
The social media influencer has millions of followers and just introduced her own apparel and wellness company.
She begins at late afternoon GMT.
